Don’t Skip Happy Hour at Orfano, Now Open Near Twenty20
You probably thought Boston had enough Italian restaurants — until you eat at Orfano. Classic antipasti, rich pastas, and masterful meat dishes are the centerpiece of the menu, and feature the flavor combinations and tried-and-true preparations that would make a Nonna proud. The pastas are hard to pass up, especially if you dream of perfectly puffed gnocchi, hearty Bolognese, or briny linguini vongole. Be sure to start with the warm hand-pulled mozzarella alongside something from the bar. The martinis are especially good, as is the wine collection and negroni cocktail. You’ll want to sit at the beautiful pearl bar for drinks, but don’t plan on just stopping for happy hour. Once you see (and smell!) double cut pork chops, monkish picatta, and roast chicken sarpariello coming out of the kitchen, staying on for dinner will be an absolute must.
Make your reservation directly on Orfano’s website, and peruse the menu to get your mouth watering. Orfano opens daily at 5 p.m.
