Fresh Vegan Fare Awaits at Whole Heart Provisions

The vegan fare has earned Whole Food Provisions such a strong local following that it opened a new branch in Cambridge two months ago. Swing by to taste what the chef has been working on, like the new Levant bowl. Choose your base of jasmine rice, pilaf, arugula, or marinated kale (or pick two), and the chef will load it up with the Levant’s mix of smashed cucumber, Japanese eggplant, tomato, red cabbage slaw, pickled cauliflower, tahini, harissa, crispy chickpeas, falafel, and sesame seeds. You can also build your own bowl, using ingredients like shaved brussels sprouts and bulgogi-style beets, or nosh on a few street foods such as seared avocado with tahini and za’atar.
