Taking up the legacy of legendary Cambridge bars, The Automatic Food & Drink on Hampshire Street has started to stake out its reputation as a place for classic cocktails, innovative pub fare, and a relaxed, retro-cool atmosphere.
The menu at The Automatic features inventive twists on bar food, like loaded fries, skewers, sandwiches, and tacos, all priced at about ten bucks. The drink menu is headlined by a lineup of classic cocktails, as well as a selection of craft beers and wines. Regular customers say it’s a good place to stop by after work and enjoy a drink, listen to some music, and chat with friends. Experienced restauranteurs Dave Cagle and Chris Schlesinger partnered with chef Ian Andreotta to open The Automatic just a few months ago, so you’ll be the first in your group to know about this cool new spot.
