Love Craft Beer? Then You’ll Love The Tip Tap Room
Boston foodies are abuzz about acclaimed chef Brian Poe’s latest undertaking, The Tip Tap Room. It’s an upscale pub with lots of inventive dishes and plenty of beer on tap.
The restaurant’s name comes from their cool ‘tips’ entrees: flavorful nuggets of meat, fish, or tofu are cooked simply and accompanied by savory sauces and accompaniments. Try the steak tips with horseradish potatoes and bordelaise, or the swordfish tips with artichoke and bell pepper salsa and citrus herb cream. The menu is filled with other high-end dishes, like lemon and pistachio risotto or braised wild boar and gnocchi. The Tip Tap Room also does an incredible weekend brunch, with lots of egg dishes, hefty carbs, and lighter fare, along with the obligatory brunch cocktails.
The Tip Tap Room is open seven days a week. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are best if you want to be guaranteed a great meal.
