Authentic French Cuisine Awaits at Ma Maison
When Chef Jacky Robert first came to Boston, it was with the express purpose of helping his uncle open a French restaurant in the city. Many years have passed, but his goal remains the same: to serve affordable and authentic French food to Bostonians. He carries on the family legacy with his latest project, Ma Maison.
Like Pierrot Bistro, which used to reside in the same spot, Ma Maison promises classic French cuisine served at a reasonable price point. Chef Jacky and his team craft hors d’oeuvres such as pan-seared foie gras with baked rhubarb and Uncle Lucien’s country pate, a nod to Jacky’s equally talented uncle. For the main course, they create dishes such as short ribs beef bourguignon, chicken coq-au-vin over butter noodles, and veal chops with wild mushrooms, not to mention a few seafood options.
